Papa Z is up late one night working one of his many side hustles when David Grove shows up at his door bearing a courier’s envelope with a surprise. It seems Z has been invited to an exclusive private seminar at Ruby Biotech Headquarters by none other than Dr. Lillian Ruby himself. The seminar is all about “multiplaneal illness” or illness which has both a biological and paranormal cause. Which Z finds awfully strange. Dr. Ruby is usually loath to discuss anything with even a hint of the paranormal in public. Why does he want to discuss it now?
