FRANETTA MCMILLIAN has been writing ever since her mother taught her how to hold a pencil. Her artwork, poems, and essays have appeared in GARGOYLE ONLINE, DREAMSTREETS, QUARTET, and other online and print publications. She is currently the guest editor of QUARTET, an online poetry journal featuring the work of women over 50. She also publishes the zine FAT BLACK WOMAN IN A WHEELCHAIR. If she wasn't a writer, she'd be an accountant.
