A tenured baby boomer, Richard Ettinger grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia in the late fifties, early sixties, he attended Columbia College in Chicago where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Film and Television Production. Following two years in the US Army, he landed a job writing for a supermarket tabloid in Chicago. When his boss blew the payroll in Vegas, it was time to pursue his dream. Richard’s first job in Broadcast television was with the ABC Affiliate in Boston. He went on to work for television stations in Washington DC and Pittsburgh. Richard moved into the world of Post Production and worked as an editor for production houses in Pittsburgh, Toledo, Fort Wayne and Denver. He is now retired and living in Desert Hot Springs California with his dogs Gracie and Arlo.
