I am Matthew Gray, an Emergency Medicine Physician and a U.S. Army Major stationed near Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. My professional life is defined by the intensity of the ER and the military, but my heart is at home with my wife, Erin, and our growing family. I write to give my children stories that explore the mysteries of faith and the complexity of the world when they're older. In the meantime, I have become scary good at inventing new Paw Patrol and Bluey storylines for my daughters. When I’m not writing or working, I find balance through woodworking, exercise, and enthusiastically bad rounds of golf.
