I'm writing as a form of therapy. I want to face memories that may or may not be understood and may and may not even be the way others remember. But the memories belong to me. And my stories are my explanation for them. Hello, my name is StarShine. I am a LightWorker. I write stories that reflect childhood abuse and how the mind copes with it. Some is non-fiction some is fiction and some is pure hobby. Mostly writing for me is a form of therapy. I have been a Licensed Massage Therapist for 17+ years, was a youth care worker in a children's group home and loved being a nurse aid. I also played in a rock n' roll band for a living. I enjoy working in hospitality and loving people and learning new healing exercises. I love to socialize and see people feel happy and to feel emotions and participate in the healing process which is challenging at times. I believe we can all heal "through our hearts and minds and hands we pray."
