Hello to the Spoken Ecosystem. I've been keeping a happy secret, and I can finally share it: I wrote a novel. Where the Trade Winds Blow is the first book in my ʻĀina O Ka Puʻuwai (Land of the Heart) series — a romance set on the Waiʻanae Coast of O'ahu Hawaii. It is about a homegrown attorney named Leilani, the land her family has held for generations, and the last man she ever expected to fall for. I write it under my pen name, T. A. Pepper, as I have other jobs, but the older I get, the more I realize I have to write for me and what I want to say. I have many stories I have been working on for 15 years and now I am going to give them the voice they need. Thank you for reading and listening. I'm excited to give my people voices.
