Hi there. Here's a little about me. I am a harder-edge Science Fiction writer living in the Manzano Mountains of New Mexico. Before becoming a writer, I was Director of Research for a private consulting laboratory in Phoenix where we experimented with inertial propulsion and power generation technologies. It was my passion for science, and a burning desire to explore the universe, that eventually led me to become a Sci Fi writer (and writing is a lot safer than blowing up a plasma containment vessel in an experimental inertial engine … yeah, that was a big OOPS!). When not writing, I'm involved in Intentional Community Design, play guitar and bass, and occasionally dabble in art of various forms. I also own way too many dogs… and I can also be found fighting heroically against mountains of dog-hair. (And for what it's worth, I really am smiling)
