Description

This poignant drama follows a mother in her fifties who has finally achieved her dream of a pristine, curated life in the wake of her three sons growing up and leaving home. Residing in a clinical, modern sanctuary, she initially revels in the sophisticated independence of her quiet luxury. However, through the literal and metaphorical "dirty windows" of her house and memory, she is haunted by vivid, chaotic visions of the messy reality she once shared with her children and late husband. As she navigates social engagements and silent rooms, the decline of her elderly dog, Poppy, serves as the final, aching tether to her past. When her grown sons return for moments of grief and celebration, she is forced to confront the emotional weight of her perfect void. Ultimately, the story is a beautiful exploration of the transition from the exhaustion of active motherhood to the bittersweet stillness of an empty nest, leading to a transformative realization: the clutter and chaos she once resented were the very evidence of a life full of love and purpose.
