Description

The story follows a woman struggling with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) as she desperately searches for a safe haven on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Her efforts are thwarted by the widespread presence of chemicals, leading to a state of homelessness and isolation. Despite the overwhelming odds, she finds solace in music, finding solace in practicing piano at her church job and finding support from a couple of friends who are willing to offer her shelter, however limited. The story takes a turn when she is confronted by a suspicious church secretary, highlighting the challenges of navigating a world that doesn't fully understand her condition.
