Description

In a cramped apartment, a playwright, Deirdre, seeks to have her new work directed by her friend and lover, Jamie. But Jamie's perception of the play and Deirdre's artistic vision are at odds when she reveals the lead role is for a Black actress. This sparks a heated debate about race, representation, and the desire for universal appeal versus preserving the play's core Black identity.
