In 1904 New York, Mr. Wogglebug, formerly from Oz, confronts prejudice while seeking belonging. After befriending a young African-American girl named Nina, he learns that the city's oldest school is threatened with closure. Teaming up with a circus clown named Charles Mace, plus Harry Houdini, Nikola Tesla, and Thomas Edison, Wogglebug organizes a benefit carnival to save the school and expose a fraudulent faith healer. His efforts spark educational reform, promote unity through a 'Festival of Light and Learning,' and even ignite romance. Mr. Wogglebug discovers that embracing differences and unexpected encounters can lead to extraordinary change, proving that home is where you make a difference.
