Description
Lord Peter Althorp, a young nobleman, is set to win the prestigious Ascot Cup with his horse Thunderbolt. However, the cunning Sir Jasper Foxley, with his shifty eyes and dubious moustache, tries to sabotage the race. On race day, Thunderbolt acts sluggish, but Peter's encouragement and a carrot motivate the horse to overcome the effects of the sedative Sir Jasper administered. Thunderbolt wins the race, but a complaint reveals Sir Jasper's cheating. Despite the disqualification, Peter and Thunderbolt are declared the true victors, showcasing the triumph of honesty and determination over deceit. Comparable works include The Princess Bride
