Description

An apprentice seeks to repay his mentor by achieving great skill, but learns that the true aim is not skill itself, but rather the cyclical process of teaching and learning. Through years of practice, the apprentice becomes a master, finally understanding his mentor's teachings about the essential element of caring. The master then encounters a new apprentice who questions the lack of genuine care in the world. This leads the master to ponder the paradox of caring, ultimately realizing that it is a rarity until one truly understands and focuses on it, at which point it becomes apparent everywhere.
