Wanted - Part 1
Description
In part 1 of Wanted, Marissa Erinson, a young woman from South Carolina, arrives in St. Louis seeking independence and new experiences. She takes a job at a university bookstore and finds herself navigating the unfamiliar streets and the complex social dynamics of the city. Her first encounter with a charming but mischievous young man, Sam Lincoln, leads to a series of misadventures, including a bicycle crash. Meanwhile, Professor Garner, a professor at the university, becomes intrigued by Marissa and offers his support, while his sons, Mario and Tony, have their own reactions to the new arrival. The story explores themes of innocence, ambition, class differences, and the complexities of family relationships, all set against the backdrop of 1920s St. Louis.
