Description

Evan and Jamie are navigating a complex and emotionally charged relationship. Jamie has been seeing a therapist and has suggested group counseling sessions involving Evan, their other partner Deirdre, and Jamie's father. Evan, feeling hurt and betrayed by Jamie's actions, is hesitant about the idea of group counseling but ultimately agrees to come home and discuss things further. The story explores themes of love, trust, communication, and the complexities of modern relationships. Comparable works include The characters and dynamics feel reminiscent of the work of David Foster Wallace or Jonathan Franzen, particularly in their explorations of complex relationships and contemporary anxieties.
